takeoff I’ve ever experienced.”
“I’ve finaled in five takeoff contests and won two.”
“That’s excellent. Now
where are we going?”
“I don’t know. I never
learned how to plot a course. We’ll just fly around for a while and see what we
can see."
“I’m afraid to ask this but
what else did you not bother to learn?”
“I never learned how to land
one of these things. I want the ending to surprise me.”
